This is being posted a little later (and may be kinda long) as I had no service on my flight and am now in Arizona for the game.
My flight left from Cincinnati around 8pm EST tonight and before boarding, me and one of my buddies began talking to a man and his wife sitting in front of us.
He was telling us it’ll be tough for him to root for Ohio State because his God-son plays for Clemson, and his God-son happens to be Isaiah Simmons. Talked to us about how they have a good bit of family in the Cincinnati area and how he was trying to reel him into looking at Ohio State (not sure how we recruited him) but he ended up at Clemson.
After talking to them, we began talking to a lady who was sitting beside us who introduced herself as BB Landers mom. She showed me the background of her phone, which had him on it, and she said how at the beginning of the season, he bought about 6-7 different cowboy hats because that’s just something he wanted to do for this year (changing the color of his hair was what he did last year).
This is the first time I’ve flown in 10+ years and to just happen to run into these people was quite an experience. Just wanted to share haha. Can’t wait for the game tomorrow. Go Bucks!
