I was reading about Thomas Jefferson's final days and came across a medicine "laudanum in grog" which was used to 'ease discomfort'.

As is sometimes stated, "curiosity killed the cat" but I survived this curiosity with some info from back in those days. CAUTION: this info might put you 'to sleep' !

(I WONDER if I need a government- issued license to dispense this information???)
