I’m racking my brain but can’t think of a bigger overreaction to a meaningless loss. Our 3rd string true freshman QB couldn’t beat a top 10 team in his first ever real game action? God forbid.
I never want to hear bowl games are meaningless again. Because the way people are acting you’d think we just got blown out by unranked Iowa or Purdue. (heavy sarcasm)
Here’s Alabama’s backup QBs against Southern Florida this season. They are now in the playoffs (because they converted a Hail Mary against 6-6 Auburn)
