When Mater Dei High School pass catcher CJ Williams announced yesterday that he’ll be revealing his top schools, I expected it to be a top 10 or a shorter list.

Well, I was wrong as the third-ranked wideout in the 2022 cycle unveiled a top 16 tonight. I won’t go through all of the programs included here, but Ohio State did indeed make the cut.

I have the Buckeyes ahead for Armani Winfield and Arizona commit Kyion Graves at this time. Even so, Williams is the type of guy who will have a spot in this class when/if he decides to commit.

Ohio State is at least in his top five, more so his top three, at this juncture out of the 16 schools he tweeted out today.
