Not much of a surprise given recent happenings, but still feels important enough to note. Had the fifth most votes among "Others receiving votes," so that's a positive I guess.
Dayton hops into the Top 10 for the first time since 1967 and Rutgers enters the Top 25 for the first time in 41 years.
Interestingly, 11 of the 14 teams in the Big Ten are either in the poll or receiving votes. Only Northwestern, Nebraska and Minnesota are completely left out.
