I'm wondering how the prep and atmosphere will be under the revamped coaching staff.
Urban obviously understood the magnitude and significance of The Game, with Earle as his godfather. Fick and Tressel did too.
Day has been in a few of these clashes, as have Wilson and Johnson and Alford. Hartline has played in the rivalry, and has that perspective. Mattison and Washington have lived on the other side of things.
In a way, this may be Day's first test (in the eyes of some)... Particularly since they're favored this week. Will we have another chapter in the recent legacy of domination, or an inadvertent return to the let downs that were present under Cooper (another outsider to the rivalry)?
Any insight or nuggets about the tone and tenor would be greatly appreciated!
