I know this particular horse carcass has 13 layers of post-mortem scarring from having been beaten so badly, but I did not know where else to ask this:
There have been two threads posted here in which writers who "cover" Clemson are claiming that Ryan Day has been repeatedly "whining" about the officiating in the semifinal game. I have not seen any such reports anywhere else. Is there any evidence that Coach Day has been vocally blaming the officiating for the loss to Clemson? On an ongoing basis? Please fill me in, 'cause I have not seen any such. Like, not ever.
I would hope that when Coach Day refers to "keeping that game in the front of our minds" going forward, he's talking about motivation to play flawlessly, and winning the whole shebang next year, NOT about payback to nameless refs or replay officials who played a role in the outcome. Any feedback?
