I was having lunch on campus with a few buddies today and the topic of Urban Meyer's place in Ohio State history and in the current coaching pantheon came up. I (obviously) am a very avid watcher of college football and so are all the guys I was with and the topic of Athlon Sports' ranking of all 128 coaches in college football came up. I normally respect the work they do at Athlon for the most part, but I was not very fond of this list whatsoever. I actually thought it was hot garbage.
So, with that having been said, we turned our discussion towards our own personal rankings of college football's top active coaches. We all had our own lists and they were definitely pretty different from one another, but the discussion lasted for way longer than we had planned on being at lunch for. So I figured I'd bring it to you guys, seeing as we're in the throes of the recruiting dead period and no fall camp yet. Who's your top five? Top ten? Where does Urban Meyer fit in?
