Let me first say I love Coombs and I’m glad he’s back!! And this isn’t a sky is falling post.
But I can remember last year Mattison called the defense and talked about simplifying it so kids could just play. Said the year before there was too much confusion which lead to many mistakes.
this is what I’m seeing this year! So many times where someone is confused and making a mistake rather than just being able to play!
I’m sure this whole Covid BS hasn’t helped it.
But I’m really missing Mattison’s simplified defense right now...
