Wisconsin perhaps caught Ohio State by surprise by using their base 3-4 odd defense in front of zone coverage -- often quarter-quarter-half. But the Buckeyes ably responded by featuring bash and swing screens to target the wide field, and allowing J.T. Barrett to make plays as a runner and passer with mid-level zone beaters. By generating yardage both within the offense and by improvising, Barrett carried Ohio State to victory.
