As I alluded to the other day, I had been hearing some buzz with Marcus Freeman being contacted. There's absolutely mutual interest with Ohio State and Al Washington. In fact, I'm beginning to think that's almost done and Bill Davis is out. I've said for a few weeks I think Greg Schiano is gone.
Tonight, there are reports from Oklahoma beat writers that Alex Grinch is almost done to Oklahoma.
My spin: Ohio State didn't *want* to lose Grinch but I don't think Ryan Day was fighting too hard to keep him. I may be wrong on this as it's just a gut instinct based on interpretation, but I think if they really wanted him to stay they could have done so.
If Schiano and Grinch are gone, that would make Freeman or maybe Matt House as likely targets for the open DC job.
if Freeman got an offer, I think he would accept. I don't think he gets an offer, but we'll see.
