I had posted about this kid a while back on @texanbuckeye 's thread of Ohio kids. He is a dual threat QB at Cincinnati Wyoming HS. I love his film, but now I am not sure he is a Coach Day type of QB. I do think he was an Urban type of QB.
For those who don't know, he led Wyoming to the state title while throwing for over 2180 yards and 28 TDs while also rushing for 1788 yards and 32 TDs. Those stats are mind blowing. Also, he is 6'5 and 190lbs. He was the DIV Offensive player of the year in Ohio. To tell what kind of athlete he is, he just averaged 17.7 points and 7.7 rebounds a game in basketball.
The thing I found out today on Twitter is that his brother, Garyn Prater, is on the OSU football team as a walk on. Not only is he on it, he is actually doing well in spring ball and pushing to get some playing time.
So, is OSU in the picture at all with this Evan? If you watch his film, you will know why I am asking.
