Jaheim Singletary, who was offered by the Buckeyes earlier this month, has included the program in his top four. Singletary also has Clemson, Florida and Georgia in his final group.
Surprisingly, LSU, which figured to be a strong contender, was left off this list.
I said shortly after he received the offer on Nov. 5 that Ryan Day’s program was probably in Singletary’s top three or top four, and the sought-after DB confirmed that today. Even though the offer was a little late, Ohio State’s staff has done a great job of developing a relationship with him since August.
I’m still in the belief, however, that a trip to Columbus with his mother is the only way Ohio State will have a shot at landing Singletary.
Florida is the school I’m hearing that has the best shot of winning out in the Singletary Sweepstakes, but we’ll be paying close attention to his upcoming visit schedule.
