It's been a crazy couple of days, letting it sink in. Some just amazing storylines and cool moments for this team this year. Starting back from last year's cotton bowl with the Kienholz show. Holy moly that was a long time ago. I have been thinking of all of the sick things that have transpired. I tried to think of under the radar things, so post yours that don't get talked about enough
- JEREMIAH SMITH: Dropping his first pass of his career against Akron. I believe that was the first pass of the season and he dropped what should have been a TD. He caught the last pass of the season, if you didn't know. Also remember when everyone was like ehhh this Ryan Williams guy is better than him?
- CARSON HINZMAN / OL FUTURE: Hinzman redemption arc is insane. From getting benched in the cotton bowl for Enokk Vimahi (!) to like 8th on the depth chart of OL to start the year, to starting C for national championship team, with also some of the nastiest swag with the old school facemask and face paint. The interior OL is going to be our core for the next 2-3 years. Future appears bright here. Sometimes it's good to keep your Ohio / midwest guys!
- LUKE MONTGOMERY: We were all wondering where he was development wise and no big deal he just shows up starting against TN and we never look back. Love, love, love his swag, barking at the camera on the Judkins TD.
- JUDKINS- wish we had more time with him. He was one nasty football player. He was giving me some Zeke vibes in the natty. Just dominating.
- PEACH BOWL FIELD - I don't know about you all, but all natty, I kept seeing UGA flashbacks, with our same jerseys, with the weird stadium lighting, the specific field turf...when Fielding was standing ready to take the final kick to seal the game...I was like is this real life? It's crazy they did it on THAT FIELD.
- CALEB DOWNS THE RB - hah what a storyline that was for a minute. His PR vs IU is something that we will always have though
- WILL HOWARD THE "RUNNING QB" - I literally thought we were going to try and be a 2023 Michigan team with our pace of play, our running backs, our stiff defense and questionable accuracy from our new transfer QB. Until Will Howard turned into like John Elway in one season.
- NEBRASKA - holy hell thank god they won THAT GAME. Game winning play was Howard to Judkins....I haven't thought about that in months.
