I wanted to post this here on Buckeye Grove because there is a chunk of posters here who read or lurk on the MB (Mainboard). Arguably the best, funniest, and most genuine poster in the history of the board passed away late Friday night, @AhhRby_AU'05. I've known him for years, we started a website together, we spent a weekend in NOLA that we barely lived through and have even exchanged Christmas gifts. He was my friend.
It is an incredible loss for everyone that knew him, even those that only knew him through the Rival's Mainboard. He leaves behind a wife and 3 children. I know many of you consider the mainboard to be a cesspool and i understand why but we take care of our own. The funds given so far for the gofundme ONLY come from Rivals posters and posters on my website. His family is aware of this gofundme and are blown away by the outpouring of love and generosity. These people just lost their world and for a few bucks we would spend on something we don't need, we can make this difficult time a little easier on them.
You meet people who forget you. You forget people you meet. But sometimes you meet those people that you can't forget. Those are your friends. Bett you are my friend and I'll never forget you. I love you buddy.
