I know that it's been discussed in other threads, but is the field turf to blame for the lower body injuries that have plagued the Buckeyes this season? I don't remember this many injuries occurring on the old turf field, or back when the field was grass. The NFLPA recently came out against the type of field turf we just installed this season due to injury concerns.

@AustinWard do you know if the staff or athletic department is looking into the injuries this season? Have they compared the number of injuries this year to other seasons? Would the athletic department even consider replacing a brand-new turf field with grass this soon?
