Ohio State has been spending a lot of time watching 2016 Westerville (OH) South wing Andre Wesson in recent weeks, older brother of 2017 center commit Kaleb Wesson. Andre has had a very good senior season for South and with the current roster being a little short on wing players, he is apparently getting a very serious look.
The natural reaction is to say "well that's just Ohio State getting a chance to watch Kaleb", but that's not really the case. Talked to someone close to the Westerville South program today about it.
"Ohio State coaches have come to 5 games, only 1 of which Kaleb played.," they shared. "They are really interested in Andre. He has blown up this year. We played in city of Palms and he was one of the best kids there. He is 6'7 with a ton of potential."
Ohio State coaches were also at practice today.
Just something to keep an eye on.
