It’s been a really long time since someone showed up at OSU as a true freshman and elevated the program the minute he stepped on the field.
Pryor and Beanie flashed but weren’t superstars year one.
TG2 had some amazing moments on special teams-receiver and was a difference maker. But also not a superstar year one.
I think you have to go back to 2002 with Clarret and before that 1996 with Boston and Katzenmoyer.
Those 3 guys were SUPERSTARS year one. Grade A best players in big ten and the country year ONE.
Julian Fleming has that type of potential. He could be Julio 2008 type of kid for us.
Every year we sign five star kids, but this kid is in another class....
No one player is ever bigger than the OSU football brand and no one player can make or break our program, but Julian Fleming is one of those once every decade kind of kids for us.
