COLUMBUS, Ohio – Kaleb Wesson, a junior center on the Ohio State men’s basketball team, was tabbed by both the Big Ten Conference head coaches and the media covering the league’s 14 teams as an All-Big Ten Second Team honoree.

Wesson led the Buckeyes in scoring (14.0 ppg.) and rebounding (9.3 rpg.). He also topped Ohio State in field goals made (136), free throws made (117) and attempted (160), offensive rebounds (73), defensive rebounds (215), total rebounds (288), blocks (31) and total points (434). He was second in assists (60).

Ohio State has earned All-Big Ten honors at the center position 18 times with Greg Oden being the last so honored in 2007. In all, Ohio State players have earned All-Big Ten honors 73 times.

In addition to Wesson, Danny Hummer also was named Ohio State’s 2020 Sportsmanship Award honoree.

Ohio State (21-10) plays next at 6:30 p.m., Thursday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis as the No. 7 seed in the 2020 Big Ten Tournament vs. No. 10 Purdue (16-15).
