On his way to becoming the most celebrated wrestler in the history of USA wrestling, OSU student-athlete Kyle Snyder has added another title to his already star-studded resume. He went to Russia and won the wrestling tournament that many consider to be even harder to win than the Olympics.
Kyle becomes only the 11th American to ever win his weight class at the legendary event. The last time an American won at any of the weight classes competed there was in 2009.
Kyle dominated the tournament as none of his matches went the distance. He won his first 3 matches of the day on technical falls. He won the finals match on a pin.
