The reports coming out of camp are incredibly exciting. But one question I have going into 2015 is how well will the Buckeyes protect the ball this year?
We've seen an uptick in fumbles and fumbles lost since the beginning of the Urban era. The additional offensive snaps don't explain the phenomenon--the ratio of fumbles per snap has gone up. And of course the Buckeyes amazing playoff run featured no less than 5 fumbles in two games, including 4 against Oregon.
Is this an area of concern at all with the coaching staff, or do they feel that ball security is where it needs to be with the offense?
