We'll be live here at the WHAC with head coach Urban Meyer as we discuss the bye week that's passed and look ahead to Saturday's Minnesota contest. We'll have a smattering of players after that as well.
Things are scheduled to get under way right around 11:45AM, so make to check in around noon.
Lunch today was italian sandwiches, bananas, potato chips, and a chocolate chip cookie. 7th grade Ryan Donnelly would be on cloud nine.
EDIT: Important notes from the presser:
- Meyer named Braxton Miller the back up behind Cardale Jones for the Minnesota game, not Stephen Collier.
- J.T. Barrett has not forfeited his captaincy, but he will lose his scholarship for one semester and will essentially be a walk-on. Will pay out-of-state tuition, which let me tell you from personal experience, is onerous.
- J.T. came over Meyer's house after the OVI and told Meyer he was devastated. He feels like he let his teammates down. Barrett also told Meyer that it never even crossed his mind that he was too impaired to drive. He was actually driving to help out a friend who was too drunk to drive.
- Cardale was not in the car with Barrett when he was pulled over, but he did pick him up.
- Dontre Wilson had a foot procedure and is questionable for this week. Parris Campbell is questionable for this week as well with that lingering knee injury. Johnnie Dixon is out "for a few weeks" with a microfracture in his knee, just under the patella.
