Mike Singer from our Notre Dame site informed me that Luke Montgomery will be returning to Columbus once again this summer. The Rivals100 offensive lineman target is slated to be in town on July 29.
If you recall, Montgomery checked out Ohio State the first day of June, and returned three weeks later to camp on June 22.
With Brenan Vernon recently committing to Notre Dame, one of Ryan Day’s staff’s top tasks in the 2023 class will be to keep prospects like Montgomery, Josh Padilla and Sonny Styles in the state.
I believe they have a good shot of doing so with Montgomery as I have submitted a FutureCast in favor of the Buckeyes. I’ve been told that Montgomery could commit to the program either shortly before or after his junior season.
This will be a key upcoming visit for Ohio State, which will also host fellow Rivals100 targets Derrick LeBlanc, Payton Kirkland and Richard Young later this month.
