I may have missed something, but I'm just curious--did something happen between Freeman and Ohio State at some point to rub him the wrong way? Freeman seems like a really good dude and a classy guy (who's turning into a very good head coach), but it's like he goes out of his way NOT to give OSU any credit or acknowledge their role in his career. Besides the comment that he "didn't want to make the same mistake twice" in not going to ND, he seems to shy away from any mention of Ohio State. Maybe I'm misreading things and am totally wrong, just is surprising given how long he was connected with the program and that the first coached he coaches under were Ohio State guys.
