More Ohio State Game Times, TV Designations Announced
The Buckeyes’ 2021 Homecoming game will be on Oct. 9 vs. Maryland
COLUMBUS, Ohio - Television networks and/or game times for three Ohio State football games were announced by the Big Ten Conference today. It includes the kickoff time for the Buckeyes’ season-opener at Minnesota along with game times for Ohio State’s final non-conference game vs. Tulsa and the homecoming contest vs. Maryland.
The 132nd season of Ohio State football will begin on Sept. 2 at Minnesota. The battle between the Buckeyes and Gophers had previously been announced as being broadcast by FOX, and today the network announced it will kick off at 8 p.m. ET. Additionally, FOX’s pre-game show, Big Noon Kickoff, will be on site at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
Nine days later, the Big Noon Kickoff Show will originate from Columbus as the Buckeyes host Oregon at noon on FOX. It will be the first regular season meeting between Ohio State and Oregon in 33 years, since 1987. The Buckeyes and Ducks were champions of the Big Ten and Pac 12 last season, respectively.
Ohio State’s final non-conference game, set for Sept. 18 at home vs. Tulsa, will kick off at 3:30 p.m. and be broadcast on FS1.
The Buckeyes’ homecoming game in 2021 will be on Oct. 9 when Ohio State hosts Maryland for a noon kickoff. The television designation is still to be determined.
As previously announced, Ohio State’s regular season finale in Ann Arbor against Michigan is set for its traditional noon kickoff time and will be broadcast by FOX.
