This is pure speculation on my part, a true prediction, but to me thats where the fun is in these FutureCast picks, read a situation and make a prediction. With that said and based on how I have seen these type of recruitments play out over the past, my guy tells me something has been pulling Carson towards Columbus from his childhood dream of playing for Wisconsin. He is a tough, hard nosed kid that doesn't overly enjoy the recruiting process and Wisconsin would have been the easy decision all along, but Ohio State really has done a great job giving him something to seriously think about. The fact a decision hasn't been made yet and now he will make a return visit to Columbus for another game day after visiting earlier this season. I like the chances here for the Buckeyes to secure his commitment.
This would be a big commitment for the Buckeyes and Coach Stud. I went back and looked at my notes from this past Spring for Hinzman and this is what I had...
"Stud, plays with strength and balance, shows tremendous ability to continue up to 2nd level, this kid will play on Sundays"
So we will see how it ultimately plays out but my gut says Ohio State.
