OL appreciation thread

I’ll be the first to say that I’m not an X’s and O’s guy, and I haven’t gone back to do a rewatch, so maybe this post is way off base.

All that said, I’ve been truly concerned that the oline was at risk of single handedly costing us the big games this season. Even if we had great WRs, good RBs, and a QB that is decent, I thought it was not unlikely that the OL would get beat so badly that those positions didn’t have a chance to do their jobs.

In the biggest games of the season so far, the o line has stepped up and played their best football. Were they perfect? No. But at no point yesterday or vs notre dame did I feel like the games were close because of a massive failure on the o line. I know that’s a low bar, but compared to my expectations it feels like a huge achievement worthy of acknowledging.
