Four-Star Defensive end, Omari Abor is set to make a public commitment today during the Under Armour All-American Game...
The game will air live on ESPN starting at 2:00pm ET.
Abor will make his decision during halftime.
Choosing between Ohio State, Texas A&M, and Alabama, Despite all the Texas rumors, and while they may be a hat on the table, they aren't a legit player here. (Unless Jeff Banks who would be the area recruiter for Abor has been going rogue for the last few weeks and hasn't communicated it with anyone else, the staff has not had any dialogue with Abor.)
Florida and LSU are also a couple schools to watch, with the coaching changes for both, both would like to continue to recruit Abor beyond today and get him on campus in January for an Official Visit, so that will certainly be something to monitor.
Ideally Abor would have signed back in December, and the Buckeyes could publicly announce him today to end the recruitment but it appears that won't be the case and even if he does commit today to Ohio State, the staff will have to recruit him till the end.
As for today though, I expect the Buckeyes to still be the pick and then work to get him across the finish line in February.
