It hurt us really really bad
OSU up 16-0 late second quarter at the OSU 6 yl.
Clemson third and two. Lawrence option pitch to Etienne. OSU safety Fuller flies up to tackle and gets contact stops Etienne in his tracks. Friday and Harrison both in pursuit and heading to what appears as a loss of yards by the gang tackling of 3 players in the backfield. Instead, Friday runs past the play and takes himself out of position. Harrison kinda slowed down and borderline loafed over and almost shut down his pursuit of the RB. Next moment TE runs straight ahead and into the endzone while 3 would be tacklers some how missed him big time.
That in my opinion was a HUGE play. We make them kick a field goal like they did us 3 times in similar situations,,,CLEM is demoralized to a degree. Our defense feels like they won a small Victory. Instead CLEM was even more revved up after the 7 instead of what was looking like 3.
I hate singling guys out,,,but Harrison had a fair to poor game. Looked slower than he had all season. Check out a lot of CLEM explosive plays,,,and our LB's just did not get it done.
