Random Saturday morning thoughts with no game this weekend. I was looking up the schedule on the site here and noticed it had a few metrics on OSU.
Field goal % rank - 91st
3-point FG % rank - 115
Rebound rank - 94th
Points per game rank - 16th
I can only think of two things since they aren’t an up and down team jacking up 100 shots per game.
- offensive rebounding - didn’t see the stats on that. That would help but don’t think that’s it.
- well balanced between 2-point shots and 3’s.Kind of like an efficient football team that can run and pass. Doesn’t lead the country in either category but put points on the board. This has gotta be it right?
What am I missing?
