A simple way to say this is I work on a web development as a project manager (I'm really an Agilist but PM is the closest equivalent people might understand) at a multi state electric utility.

The company has 7 sub companies supplying power to 11 states and over 5 million customers.

Every 4/5 years the company does a redesign (or rebranding if you will) of all of it's sites. Each company has its own unique content but the look and feel of all the sub companies align with the corporate branding.

My team for the last year and a half (from usability research/design/development) has been working on this and today we released our new sites to our customers. A lot of work went into it and I am very proud of all my team members for staying the course and seeing it through.

Anywho I have been up since midnight monitoring for defects etc and just got this overwhelming feeling of pride for my team. It's pretty cool when something they built gets used by seen/used by so many people.

Here are a couple of links to some of our sites if any cares to have a looksie.

Peace
