I keep telling everyone in Houston that Marion's Pizza of Centerville is the best pizza I have ever had in my life.
So in recent a quest for a "really good non-national chain thin crust pizza" I realized that Dayton, Ohio had 3-4 places with pizza that was a lot better than what's available in all of Houston...
My favorites were/are:
1) Marion's
2) Milanos (love the cheesesteak and turkey subs too but their pizza is awesome).
3) Donatos
4) I even like Cassanos better than what is considered the best here..
My favorites in Columbus were:
1) Tommy's
2) Grinders
3) Donatos
(Worst in college was Oval.. And they would display bad checks - I had a few)... I had a fraternity buddy that ate Flying Pizza literally every night for like 6 months...
When we went to my Grandmas in Cleveland...we would always order Geracis.. Not bad.
What am I missing?
