I hope Kevin doesn't mind my quick off topic, but I'm excited to say I'm off to Tallahassee. After weeks of discussions with them, I was offered a position officially this morning by the chief of staff for Ron DeSantis. I'm going to be working directly under the governor at the Florida capitol doing data analysis and research. This is obviously quite a change for a sports guy but one I couldn't turn down. I dislike politics, in general, but I have so much admiration and respect for DeSantis regardless of political affiliation I have zero qualms about this.
Anyhow, I'm nervous, excited, anxious, etc. I may still do some podcasting on the side like Steve Deace does, I dunno yet, but sheesh, I'm a government shill now (ha ha)
