OT: for the OT,..Dyatlov Pass

Hadn't heard of this before. But nine experienced Soviet mountaineers got terrified and ran into the Siberian wilderness. The tents were cut from the inside out and the hikers escaped only half dressed,..an avalanche has been ruled out. Something or someone must have scares them out of their minds'. Thoughts?
