So if you guys remember, about 4 months ago I took a risk and moved down to Orlando from the FL panhandle to 1) get away from the negativity of the place 2) further my career. I took a PT job at the front desk of the company I wanted to work for.
Well, tomorrow I have an interview lined up for a FT position that would be yyuuuggge for me.
Here's the issue. 1) I'm pretty sure I'm not as good as interviews as I thought I was. 2) I sent about 6 applications out over the past month and this was the one I felt I was least qualified for.
So anyone who does hiring have any tips about how to go into an interview for a position you are not well versed on and overly qualified for? I know 2 other people at the front desk have or are interviewing for the position as well (they have been there for a few years), so I have some stiff competition.
