For you business owners, managers, supervisors, etc.:
What are the most impressive interviews you've conducted and what stood out the most and what advice do you offer for prospective employees?
Personally, I work for an industrial distributor in western Michigan. I've been in the industry for 15+ years and have contacts and relatiinships here. I recently had a phone interview with a pneumatic manufacturer for direct sales in the same market and am scheduled for a face to face next week. I have the experience and (some) technical knowledge but not the education most of these companies look for. What can I do to be the most prepared (i.e. should I do a business plan or just bring a copy of my resume & references)?
