Was talking to the Second Wiseman and he chimed in with his observations...
"in my opinion the guy that I think has come out of nowhere has been DANTE BOOKER. When people were looking at the OSU linebacking corps there was lots of praise being heaped on other guys---but quietly, and almost with every single practice, BOOKER has thrown himself squarely into the mix.
Early in camp they started moving Josh Perry to defensive end to replace some of the pass rush they lose when Bosa is gone---and you would see Worley, Hilliard and a raft of other guys out there.
Now in those situations, its exclusively BOOKER...and the kid just keeps making play after play after play...
some people had speculated that he would be a guy that would move to defensive end---but he looks so fluid and natural at the WILL(Weak side linebacker) that I just couldn't imagine him playing elsewhere....
was an athlete playing football....now looks more and more like a terrifically athletic football player"
