I know that we are a couple of weeks from the start of the season, only seeing the bits and pieces of practice that Ohio State social media is putting out but I guess this is as good of a time as any to put out our preseason Hot 11 call for ballots. This will give people an avenue that is not 'he said/she said' to talk a little football and might give us the widest range of ballots to start the poll with.
As everyone who has been here knows (but not our new members) the ballot is like a power rankings, people move up and down and one good week for a player who was not on the list before won't vault them to No. 2 or No. 3 on the list, it is a progression. That is why the first list is so important because that sets the baseline and we move on from there.
So let's see your top-11 players on the team, ranked in order, no ties (it is preseason, not going to accept 2-3 players tied at 11th at this point). We wont likely release the finished product until the start of game week for Oregon State, so we have a little time.
