But wanted to get it posted while I was thinking about it.
For those who are new or never paid attention to the Hot 11, it is a piece that highlights the top 11 players on the team, regardless of position, and puts them in order. It is a stock market type of piece, meaning that one bad outing is not going to drop you from No. 1 to off the list and one good outing won't take you from No. 48 to No. 3. We will run it each week (won't double up around 'open' weeks on the schedule however or during the break leading up to the bowl game) and it will finish up after the bowl game.

We poll our staffers, a couple of observers that we trust and we also take ballots from the membership and factor that into our decisions. Many weeks we are told we do a good job, there are others where we are told we missed. It is all in good fun and a piece we have been doing for years and years.
