This is for you @Kevin_N @Marc Givler @NevadaBuck and @Kirk Barton:
Why on Earth are the National Championships of college football and basketball on a Monday night? College football at 8 and College basketball at 9:21 and I just think it is pure stupidity. Kirk, I know you played on teams that played on these Monday night championship games, and I know at the time your focus was simply to win the game, but was the day and the timing ever brought up?
I know in football season, the NCAA doesn't want to compete with the NFL playoff games and I for sure get that!. Why not kick the game off on a Friday night? Ohio State beat Miami in the Fiesta Bowl on a Friday night and most people don't have to get up and go to work on Saturday morning. Monday nights are just horrible, especially when you have to function at work on a Tuesday. Is this a network thing? An NCAA thing? or simply about money in general? I have just always wondered why and thought somebody might have a logical explanation..
