Urban's track record gave him instant respect and credibility with today's players, coaches, and players' families. He had/has somewhat of a distant and disciplined persona. His physical size and intensity created a fear factor (in a good way IMO) among his players. This played a huge role in having kids toe the line. Saban (insert size joke) is much the same way - Dabo, not so much.
