Anyone who has tasted these waters long enough should know by now that just not college but the NFL gets it wrong in evaluation. I have said when it comes to high school players certain positions is very hard to judge. A 6-5 300 pound kid going against another player 70 pounds lighter give me a break. Qb's with nice arms and a wr corp's always looks nice but what about a qb his equal or better with no one to throw to and either can read the defense. Those two positions might be the hardest to read and adjust to in college. I still won't say who is better at judging Ohio talent but one sticks his neck out a lot further. Even so they both have a opinion right or wrong. Lastly I mentioned in another thread that who is 1 to 10 at any position is a crap shoot and most times there are a couple that stand out and the others depend on what you want at that position. To me and just my opinion nearly every school has a wide out and running back that is very good to me outside of a Hershal Walker there nearly a dime a dozen. The last thing I will mention is if you don't think politics are involved here in rankings your nuts as each region is bias to there boy's. I lied what about a player and no matter his position that doesn't camp how can you rank this young man? Another thing that hurts a player is grades. He could be the best player at his position but because he MIGHT not qualify he drops a ton. My favorite example of this is Chuck Jones maybe the best d line man in Ohio history from Chillicothe yes sp. and wonder how many of you out there remember this young man?
