Sorry to start another thread about this, but here's what I don't understand.
If there was such a rift and it's been existent for 3 years or longer depending on the coordinator, wouldn't we have heard something from one player or one coach by now?
On twitter as a slip-up, from a former player, from anyone who's disgruntled after a loss, negative recruiting speak related to Larry Johnson being too old.
"He only just tells his DL to occupy lanes and rush straight ahead every play. There isn't even any stunting. If you're an edge player, don't go to OSU. You won't be allowed to actually rush the QB".
Heck, even from Knowles? What does he have to lose? He's not getting fired for 1 comment...he's supposed to be invaluable.
I just don't think that, in any program, the hatches would be battened down so tightly that we wouldn't have heard about the discontent between the 2 (or 3) coaches 1 time from anyone either as an audio clip or a redacted Twitter/X post. It doesn't make sense to me. Someone enlighten me.
