This might have been discussed ad nauseum after the game, but I stayed off the boards for a week after the game, so I might have missed it.
What stuck out to me the most? The poor play on defense by Browning.
From my perspective, him being out of position on both of Clemsons first half TD’s directly cost us 14 points.
We could have had a slower LB back there, but in position, would have made both tackles on Lawrence and Etienne to save the long TD runs.
And speaking of speed... How on Earth did Lawrence outrun Baron covering 45 yards on the 1st TD? Browning’s game speed is so much slower than his actual speed.
Browning plays like he’s running on ice, when everyone else is running on turf.
I’m all for moving Baron to D end this year if he doesn’t show noticeable improvement this off season.
