I will mention Benji Gosnell in the Skull Session tonight, but I just wanted to pass this news along. The junior out of North Carolina has opted to not wait for the dead period to conclude, and will commit in a few days.
Kevin and I initially switched our FutureCast predictions to Florida for Gosnell as soon as he made his announcement. With Gosnell saying two weeks ago that UF would be his choice if he was to make a decision then and the Gators trending heavily, we were gearing up for them to be the choice.
Multiple sources close to the situation just told us, however, that Ohio State is likely going to be the school coming out on top on Wednesday. As a result, I have flipped my pick back to the Buckeyes.
I jumped the gun with the UF pick today, and I'm kicking myself since I was the first one to forecast Gosnell to Ohio State back in August. Either way, I wanted to get this right, and my sources are telling me that Gosnell should be choosing OSU this upcoming week.
Anything can happen over these next few days, but I'm expecting Gosnell to pick the Buckeyes in a few days.
