Did Ryan Day make a mistake this week pulling everyone so early on offense and defense? I know the main goal was getting out this week healthy, so I’m gonna say he did the right thing.
But now in hindsight after seeing LSU giving up over 35 points and over 600 yards of offense to Ol Miss... would a 70-7 thrashing of Rutgers been enough of another dominant win/eye test to vault Ohio State back over LSU for the #1 spot?
Will they figure in that only 7 points was given up by the starters due to a muffed punt?
Would hate to be in Ryan Day’s shoes and have to deal with subjectivity and the eye test to go along with just getting a W each week.
It’s a tough balancing act for sure.
