was speaking to the Second Wiseman this morning and he made a couple of observations that I thought were worthy of sharing...

"Under rated aspect of JT's game that isn't discussed very often is his ball handling ability. Everyone in the building had read the comments by Meyer before the game about needing to get Dobbins more touches. I guarantee you that Dantonio had also read those same comments and the MSU defense was ready to tee off on JK that first play.

What does Barrett do? He pulls the ball out of his gut---fools everyone--and heads out around the end for a solid gain.

Go back and watch one of Weber's long TD runs----Barrett's ball fake(and carrying it out) isn't a big thing--but its little things like that which help the running game "go"---freezes the safety a step--and that's enough for Weber to be gone....

Been calling for Ohio State to play to its strengths and run the ball more at these teams--and it was so fun to see it carried out that way...

but if you don't have a QB that can handle the ball, carry out the ball fakes--and still present a solid running threat---then it makes it tough to operate---especially around the red zone....

its one of the reasons that JT has a ridiculous amount of TD's.....

gotta clean up those turnovers--though--as those will end up haunting you. First one is all on Barrett---Second one was a poor throw, but an equally poor effort by Bin. Kinda sums up Bin's time here so far---some plays he's great and other times he just gives up on the ball---which is unacceptable....

Going to be an interesting spring---as the offense will have to be retooled if they make certain personnel decisions...."
