So my 8' tall inflatable Brutus Buckeye that I put up on my front porch each gameday is not fully inflating and I want to see if anyone has run into the same situation and has any suggestions to share on what I can possibly do to get him running back at full capacity. This started towards the end of last season. I had to "prop" him up so as to stay up till I got home from watching the games (and long enough to piss off my next door neighbor who went to Wisky as well as all of the SEC loving people that live around me).
When I plug it in it starts right up and seems like the motor is running fine but it will only inflate to like about 75% capacity. I've checked for leaks/tears and have only found one small one which I patched up. Othwerwise it seems like he is in good shape in that area. Now keep in mind that I've put it up every game since the 2009 season (over 100x) and it usually runs for a good 12-14 hours each time (so the unit has probably close to 1500 hours on it) so I wasn't sure if it had just run its course or if there was something else that I was overlooking.
Any help that anyone can offer up (other then yes the obvious of going to buy a new one) would be much appreciated.
