Third Wiseman chimed in with this one...
"Ohio State offense has been fantastic this season--far surpassing my early season expectations. Just so crisp and efficient---seemingly always ahead of the opposition in both strategy and execution.
While a lot of people focus on Fields and Dobbins(necessarily so)---I think the unsung hero of this group is the center, Josh Myers.
Coaches call Josh "The Perfect Storm"--as he is just the right combination of high football IQ, aggression, technique, raw power and nasty. Has come in and graded out so high the first few weeks, that Coach Day sent guys back to watch the tape and regrade--just to be sure.
OSU can lay claims to a lot of things...DBU....WRU....LBU...but I think our run of centers has been as impressive as anyone's in the country.
I'm telling you that Myers will leave here right there with the best of the bunch.
He very well may end up the best center to ever have played here.
He is that good.
6'5 310 lbs with just unreal strength --and unusually strong hands--almost vice grips---so when he "locks on" the defensive guy just has no choice but to go where he wants to take him....
centers generally only get noticed when something bad happens---not too much bad is happening with Josh there in the middle....
enjoy every snap....."
