Incredible series. About the Soviet nuclear disaster in 1986. Not all details are true but this is about as good as a movie can get.
It set a record for highest rated show on IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes. My 15 year old son started watching it and I happened to walk in the room. I binged that day and the next and am now on my third go through. The casting is just genius and while all the European actors use their native accents it works very well. For me it nudged it’s way onto my top 5 all time.
This series alone is worth the month of subscription. When you’re done, binge on Silicon Valley. The jerking efficiency episode at the end season 1 is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen.
